L’avventura inizia alcuni giorni prima dell’escursione, con alcune telefonate ad amici allo scopo di acquisire informazioni su come raggiungere la grotta stessa.
Alcune ricerche su internet portano ad apprendere che la cappella presente all’interno di questa grotta naturale risale all’anno mille, le stesse ricerche non rilevano foto riguardanti tale grotta e ciò rende ancora più appetibile l’escursione.

Ad un tratto ci si ritrova davanti una porta e la sensazione è strana, sa di mistico perché rappresenta il punto di passaggio verso l’ultimo tratto che porta alla grotta di San Michele, per fortuna tale porta è aperta ed è quindi sufficiente spingere un po’ per aprirla e passare al di là di essa.
